The objectives of this Association are to promote the art and science of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery within the Federal Services, foster research and study of the sciences connected with the practice of podiatry, and strive for betterment of the public health.
House of Delegates
The Board of Directors attended the House of Delegates in March 2024 and will continue to represent the interests of Federal Service Members internally at the APMA. Donations were made to APMA Education Fund and the APMAPAC.
APMA Legislative Conference
Steven Goldman, DPM, MBA, attended the 2024 APMA Legislative Affairs Conference in Washington DC. It provided for a one-on-one meeting with Senate and Congressional members who are influencial on VA Affairs where issues that continue to be relevant and of concern (i.e. pay/staffing) were discussed.
Upcoming Membership Meetings
The FSPMA Board has elected to hold our annual meeting of the members in conjunction with the Desert Foot WEST (https://www.desertfoot.org/) Conference later this year. Additionally, FSPMA members will be present for a face-to-face briefing at Desert Foot EAST as well.
